The “Sprit of the Tree Farm” is used... to refer to... qualities of Community - or the deeper, freer and more creative association of participants than might be possible in other settings; Heterogeneity and Equality - or the encouraging of participation by people of all races and backgrounds as well as the full participation by persons of all ages in the activities and decision making; Shared Work - or a sense of responsibility toward the maintenance and development of areas and facilities used in common; Respect and Concern for the comfort and convictions of others and respect for the land and natural order of the Tree Farm and a concern for its survival in its natural state. The “Spirit of the Tree Farm” provides an opportunity for the liberation and renewal of participants.
